About Me

All Things Football

Born in Durban and raised in Joburg, I have struggled to find my lace in the world. Having a burning and unwavering love for the game of football yet struggling with weight and to be quite honest, not being as talented as my peers, I realised very quickly that I would need to find my place off the pitch. This is where I got lost, I wanted to be a coach, agent and administrator, all at the same time. These roles do clash however, a coach is for the players as much as he is for the team and at the same time must look out for himself. The agent essentially should be all about what is best for the player, but does not get involved in what happens on the field. The administrator is like the puppet master, runs everything, deals with the coach, the player and the agent to make sure everything goes well on the pitch. With the demand's of life, I was never able to become any of the above at a high level. Fortunately, I know a little about writing and I have now decided to share my knowledge on footy through this blog. On this platform I will share some subjective pieces, some factual ones as well as previews, reviews and everything footy.
Through this site I hope to showcase how much I know about the game and most importantly, what I do not know about it so I can learn. This is a personal site as it is my way of staying close to the game I love as I search for my role in making it better for all South African Football lovers.
